Have you seen our new Livery inspired by Jordan F1?

Our new livery was inspired by one of the greatest-ever Formula One colour schemes. Unveiled just in time for Rallye Monte Carlo a couple of weeks back, the two PCRS Rallysport prepared Hyundai i20 Rally 2 cars entered by the Rally Academy will spark memories of Eddie Jordan’s first Grand Prix car.

The green and blue colours of the 7-Up Jordan 191 frequently tops ‘best livery ever’ polls. The legendary Irish-owned and licenced Jordan F1 Grand Prix team put Irish motorsport on the world map between 1991 and 2005. Rally Academy drivers Josh McErlean and William Creighton are Ireland’s future in the World Rally Championship. The new livery will link Irish motorsport, past, present, and future.

Rally Academy founder John Coyne said:

“It was always a look I liked. It says the right things. It is the right colour scheme for an Irish team. It may not be a direct copy, but it is a nod in that direction, and it looks pretty smart.”

Both McErlean and his codriver John Rowan and Creighton and navigator Liam Regan were contesting the iconic Rallye Monte Carlo for the first time. The Motorsport Ireland Rally Academy is an official team entry in the WRC2 Challenger category.

“They are taking a further big step in their development. They are just two of a number of Irish crews receiving support and guidance from the Rally Academy in 2023, as we seek to develop Ireland’s future stars in the World Rally Championship” added John Coyne.
